Read Before you plan to attend yet another "Friendly Chat" on June 23

Dear Fellow Teresa Ville Apartment owners,

As you would have already experienced that CSC is sponsoring so called "Friendly Chats" where some pro-enbloc SPs present various arguments, including scare tactics, to push SPs to sign CSA.  We notice that another such 'friendly chat' is organized on Saturday June 23. One of the agendas is to discuss Deep Tunnel Sewerage System.

As per the post dated June 13 on this blog titled "Factual Insights on proposed Deep Tunnel Sewerage System  near Teresa Ville"; we had posted insights based on PUB briefing to MC and few invited experts on June 13. We strongly recommend that in case you plan to attend the 'friendly chat' on June 23, please read thru above post, so that you are pre-informed of this project and do not fall prey to possible exaggerated and/or distorted versions.

For your additional information, we are sharing with you selected slides of briefing by PUB delegates on the measures they are proposing to mitigate the impact of this project, which shall occupy only a small part of adjacent vacant land, far from blocks 1005 and 1007 and at a safe distance from block 1003 and Teresa Ville boundary.

Is it worth signing this CSA ? Reflection on EOGM on Feb 28, 2021

  EOGM on Feb 28, 2021 Contribution from one of the fellow owners of Teresa Ville Dear Fellow owners of Teresa Ville, Like many of you, I attended zoom EOGM on Sunday, February 28, 2021. I would like to share some of my reflections and observations. 1.       Unproductively long Meeting and Leaving things to the Last day :   While the meeting was well organized with almost no technical glitch, it went on for too long (5 + hours ). Some owners proposed amendments to the fee structure and terms of Collective Sale Agreement (CSA), but the CSC chairman refused to adopt any of the suggestions and proposals from the owners. It would have saved our time, if the CSC chairman could have clarified in his opening remarks, that since Feb 28, 2021 was the last date of the mandate of Collective Sales Committee, there was no time and scope to make any amendments to the CSA, and the engagement of the property agent and law firm.
