Beware of Exaggerated and Alarmist Proclamations regarding Deep Tunnel Sewer System..

 Some residents have been informed that the Deep Tunnel Sewer System will affect Teresa Ville or cut through our property. A check with the PUB website will show that the DTSS runs along AYE and cut across to Keppel Road. There is no indication that it will run through our land. Hence, do not panic. There's lots of digging going on in Singapore of all manner of infrastructure projects and the Government has been mindful to minimise the impact on the population and the environment. Let's get more information first before jumping to conclusions. Do not get sidetracked by alarmist proclamations.

 It is quite likely that CSC and/or highly motivated pro-envbloc SPs shall try to instill fear in Teresa Ville owners' minds that above mentioned proposed PUB project in vicinity of Teresa Ville shall cause great inconvenience, hence shall push SPs to sign the CSA asap. Please note, PUB shall provide all information about project's impact to MCs of residential areas near the project site. MC should be keeping Teresa Ville informed when they have clear details. Hence please do not pay heed to rumors from unauthenticated sources regarding this subject.

Is it worth signing this CSA ? Reflection on EOGM on Feb 28, 2021

I would like to share some of my reflections and observations. 1.       Unproductively long Meeting and Leaving things to the Last day :   While the meeting was well organized with almost no technical glitch, it went on for too long (5 + hours ). Some owners proposed amendments to the fee structure and terms of Collective Sale Agreement (CSA), but the CSC chairman refused to adopt any of the suggestions and proposals from the owners. It would have saved our time, if the CSC chairman could have clarified in his opening remarks, that since Feb 28, 2021 was the last date of the mandate of Collective Sales Committee, there was no time and scope to make any amendments to the CSA, and the engagement of the property agent and law firm.
